The new spaces of the national museum of the Asian Arts, been founded by Emile Guimet in 1889, offer an exceptional framework to the selected works according to quality criteria severe. Many acquisitions of first importance, a series of exceptional donations and a vast restoration country and of overall monumental never exposed remontage modified noticeably the spirit of the previous presentations to the renovation of the places. In a simplicity bias and of scientific harshness, the collections of the different civilizations order themselves according to a chronological order.

The circuit of the visits allows understanding the big phenomena "transasiatiques", such as the broadcasting towards the east and the southeast of the religious forms indians by the road of silk and by the maritime ways, or well the vast phenomenon of the radiance of the Chinese civilization in all the extrême- orient.

Certain countries, as Japan or especially Korea of which the museum preserves rich collections, benefit from more spaces than by the passed. Major arts, as the paint More chinese, More korean and More japanese, almost totally absent in the former presentations, give the feeling to discover a new museum.
