Following its series of orchestra portraits, the public studio consecrates a cycle to the national orchestra of France (ONF). It is few symphonic formations having given place to as much of filmed documents of quality. Public concerts or in studio, of course, but also films showing the orchestra to the work and other reports on the life of this unique formation. In fact, the onf was often to the first lodgings of musical life with the creation of works of Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, Olive Tree Messiaen, Henri Dutilleux, Iannis Xenakis, Rock Roll... Orchestrate radio and of television, the onf possesses an impressive funds of archives awaiting d'' to be exhumed. They do to relive remarkable music moments, with the biggest bosses of the fifty last years among which these Desired emile Inghelbrecht, Maurice Rosenthal, Charles Munch, Igor Markevitch, John Martinon, Sergiu Celibidache, Leonard Bernstein, Morin Maazel, Erich Leinsdorf, Georg Solti, Riccardo Muti and Kurt Masur, the current musical director. The archives allow in addition to do to relive the collaborations of the orchestra with the biggest soloists, of which Isaac Stern, Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Martha Argerich or Mistslav Rostropovitch.
