The big saga of C&A begins in Holland to the 19th century. To the era where the family Brenninkmeyer sells linen and textiles. The matters walk so well, in 1841 precisely, that the brothers Clemens and August Brenninkmeyer open a warehouse and are founded a commercial corporation to Sneek to the north of the Netherlands. The business C&A, Clemens & August, was born. This is the beginning of the success.
